“As a teacher, I love seeing students break through their initial anxieties about math when they get engaged in a problem. I love hearing how students think about math.”

Professional Experience

During his undergraduate studies, Ben volunteered in seventh- and eighth-grade math classrooms. For one year after graduation, he worked as a resident in a seventh-grade math classroom through the Boston Teacher Residency. 

Ben will begin his second year of teaching at Charlestown High School during the 2021–2022 school year. 

Hobbies

Ben is passionate about food—he loves baking and traveling to new places to eat.
