Registration will open in September 2025! To secure your spot at the conference, a $50 registration fee is required. Knowles Academy Courses
July 20 – July 22, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
During the week of our Annual Conference, we’re excited to offer four Knowles Academy courses. When you register, you’ll choose one course to attend for all three days, as each course is designed as a multi-day experience. A $50 registration fee is required to secure your spot. As a token of our appreciation for your commitment to your students and advancing math and science education, attendees who complete all three days of their selected course will receive a $100 Amazon gift card

The Knowles Annual Conference is geared for any educator who supports K-12 STEM instruction (teachers, administrators, directors, coaches, etc.). While many of the sessions target middle and high school instruction, other sessions, including those on sustainability, teacher leadership, and math and science practices, are accessible to any K-12 STEM teacher.
Yes, all attendees will receive a professional learning certificate (10 hours) for attending the conference.
Individuals who also attend our 3-day In-Person Academy Courses will also receive a professional learning certificate (24 hours).
Yes, you can elect to participate in a 3-day course or the Annual Conference. You are also more than welcome to attend all 4 days (Academy Course and the Annual Conference).
Parking is included.
Breakfast, lunch and a dinner reception are included in the registration fee, in addition to parking.
Yes, you can share the conference flyer linked above. Additionally, we have a sample letter that you can share with your administration to notify them of your participation in the conference. This letter can also be used to request approval for funding.

Online Workshop Exploring a Life Science Phenomenon through the Practices of Science
7:30PM – 9:00PM ET Free In this workshop, teachers will explore a life science phenomenon to develop an understanding of how the practices of questioning, modeling, and data analysis support students in building content knowledge. Together teachers will consider places in their curriculum where phenomena and science practices can support students in building content knowledge.

Online Workshop Project-Based Learning Basics
7:30–9:00PM ET Free Understanding math and science enables citizens to make critical, informed decisions that support individual wellbeing and civic participation. We see project-based learning (PBL) as a highly effective way to address these challenges. In order to harness the potential of these courses to improve the lives of all students, teachers need specialized support in leveraging PBL in math and science. Come learn with us about some of the basics of PBL, such as entry events, end products, checkpoints, and other core components. Walk away with the next steps to begin implementing PBL in your class.

Online Course Designing & Implementing Engaging Lessons
6:30 PM-8:30 EST 25.00 Designing and modifying engaging learning experiences for students that are accessible, rigorous, and effective in strengthening students’ conceptual understanding can be challenging. Our course is designed for educators and equips participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to modify and implement learning experiences that cater to all students’ needs while promoting a deeper conceptual understanding of the content. Participants will learn strategies to orchestrate productive classroom discussions, ensuring that all students actively participate in authentic mathematics and science practices. By the end of the course, participants will apply a framework that will support them in creating engaging learning environments where every student sees themselves as capable “doers” of math and science.
