“I love biology! To me, viewing the world through a biological lens makes sense. I really enjoy learning about ecological and evolutionary processes. They fascinate me. I am also very interested in learning how biology informs the field of sustainability. I am an environmental advocate and am always searching for solutions to many sustainability issues our society has incurred.”

Professional Experience

Before beginning his teaching career, Brandon worked on the professional development team at Northern Arizona University on the PLANETS project. The purpose of this project was to create online professional development opportunities for informal educators to increase teacher effectiveness and confidence when teaching planetary science.

Brandon began teaching at University High School during the 2017–2018 school year.

Hobbies

Brandon enjoys cycling and used to ride competitively. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, rock climbing, and camping.
