“Learning math made me see the world in a completely different way. I see math all around me, and it is amazing. I want to be able to share that gift with my students.”

Professional Experience

For four years, Dawn worked in the accounting department at a luxury hotel and conference center. She also taught English to elementary school students in South Korea for one year and worked with high school students as a paraprofessional for another year, before successfully applying for the Boettcher Teacher Residency Program.

Volunteer Experience

During her undergraduate studies, Dawn spent two months in Swaziland, Africa, where she coordinated activities for local children and fed them.

Hobbies

Dawn enjoys traveling, skiing and camping.
