Why Math 

Math is often isolating for students. I want to change perceptions on what it means to be good at math.

Professional Experience

During her undergraduate studies, Ellye worked with students in the Breakthrough program in both New Orleans and New York teaching algebra and geometry. She also tutored middle and high school students in math. 

Ellye will begin her first year of teaching at Menlo-Atherton High School during the 2022–2023 school year. 

Hobbies

Ellye loves to travel and has studied abroad in Budapest and taught while living in Galicia, Spain. She has road tripped between New Orleans and California five times.
