Collaborative Inquiry Guide
Collaborative inquiry supports small groups of teachers working together to examine and improve their teaching practices. It begins with identifying a question, collecting relevant data, and using the Data Analysis Protocol to analyze the data by considering diverse perspectives. Teachers reflect on the impact of identities in teaching and learning and use their findings to adjust instruction. This process applies to both student data (e.g., written work) and educator data (e.g., reflections). Even with imperfect data, teachers are encouraged to start, as valuable insights can emerge, leading to more equitable and effective teaching strategies.
