Sowing the Seeds of Change: Supporting Teachers to be Agents of Social Capital Development

The Knowles Teaching Fellowship Program builds social capital among beginning secondary math and science teachers to strengthen the profession from within. Through scaffolded learning opportunities, interactional norms creating safe spaces, and an inquiry stance, Fellows leverage tools and processes to strengthen social capital in their schools and beyond, driving teacher-led improvement.
