In addition to school-level responsibilities, Jamie was the Colorado representative for the National Association of Biology Teachers and an HHMI BioInteractive Teacher Ambassador, presenting at several regional and national conferences. She wrote for and field tested lessons for a variety of BSCS projects. Within the Knowles Teaching Initiative, Jamie wrote and recorded several stories for Kaleidoscope and was an associate editor and peer advisor for two years.
